Position Summary: Provides timely, quality, cost effective maintenance for FedEx Express vehicle fleet and ground support equipment which requires preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications and documentation. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES High School Diploma or GED Equivalency Have 3 years fleet, automotive, or truck vehicle maintenance experience. Automotive Service Technician or Truck & Coach Technician Completed vehicle apprentice program with certified diploma Must possess valid driver’s license and a good driving record Working knowledge of the use and operation of all service garage equipment and testing equipment, gauges and tools normally associated with troubleshooting and repair of gasoline, diesel, and propane equipment. Basic electronic troubleshooting skills Possession of a complete set of hand tools including metric sizes. Must have the ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment Must be able to lift and maneuver heavy vehicle components above 70 Ibs with the help of appropriate lifting mechanical assistance Basic Inter/Intranet preferred, MS Office, Basic Word, Outlook preferred ADDRESS: 2190 Derry Rd E Mississauga Ont. L5S 1E2 Shift/HOURS DETAILS: 5x8 with 12pm start Monday to Friday OR 4x10 (Tuesday off) with 10AM start time.
